Gabriella Skarka is an undergraduate at UC Berkeley with interests in public health, politics, environmental justice, and human rights law.
Competing in speech and debate competitions on issues of social justice has fueled her passion for advocacy and public speaking.
She has lead campaigns to advocate for people afflicted by hunger and poverty; as well as raise awareness of global barriers to education for young women, representation for indigenous communities, and rights for child laborers, to name a few.
Working at SJC has allowed her to explore legal nonprofit work among talented, passionate, and like-minded individuals. She is grateful for the supportive and uplifting community that provides her with the opportunity to advocate for deserving individuals and their families; a field of work she hopes to continue for years to come.
