Abigail is an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley majoring in Legal Studies and minoring in Public Policy. She aspires to be lawyer working on immigration and labor rights. Working as a Legal Assistant has opened her eyes to experiences people have had with the broken immigration system. The resiliency of these individuals, fleeing their home country that is often times flooded with violence and then having to navigate a foreign country that criminalizes them, has inspired her to one day be able to change the system. Outside of the office, Abigail volunteers as the CoOutreach Coordinator for the Raza Center Recruitment and Retention Center where her work revolves around demystifying higher education for students of color.
