Lizeth Sanchez Aguirre
Lizeth is an undergraduate student at UC Berkeley. She is majoring in Philosophy and plans to continue on to law school in the future. As an immigrant herself, she became interested in immigration law when she found herself in need to adjust her status. She experienced the difficulty of obtaining affordable and trustworthy legal services which encouraged her to become proactive and get involved in the legal field.
Before moving to Berkeley, she resided in Santa Ana, California where she began her journey in immigration law as she volunteered as the Chair for the Immigration Section of the Orange County Paralegal Association. She also participated in various events assisting Lawful Permanent Residents apply for U.S Citizenship and worked as a paralegal at the Central American Resource Center in Los Angeles.
The thing she loves the most about working with immigrant families is to be able to bring peace of mind to their homes and to increase their opportunities for success in this country.
