Cristopher is an 11 year old boy from El Salvador. His parents came to the United States when he was very young but were unable to pay for his trip to the United States until this year. He grew up with his grandmother. Because his parents were in the United States, he was a target for violence in El Salvador.
Cristopher was left at the US border near San Diego with bruises on his head. His parents immediately sought legal assistance and SJC was able to fix the legal status of everyone in his family, including his older brother.
Cristopher is safe in the United States with all of his family, including his two brothers who were born in the United States and whom he never had met before. For the first time in many years, his family has been reunited.
