Rosa Gomez is a staff attorney at Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto (CLSEPA), where she assists non-citizens with immigration matters. Her work focuses on immigrant youth and their families.  She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association of Northern California and received the AILA NorCal scholarship to participate in the National Day of Action in 2012.

Rosa has a long-standing commitment to immigrant rights. Before joining CLSEPA, she served as the Immigrant’s Rights Fellow at the International Institute of the Bay Area in Oakland.

While in law school at Penn State University Dickinson School of Law, Rosa participated in the Refugee and Asylum Clinic. She represented a client facing deportation in front of the Board of Immigration Appeals and successfully received cancellation of removal for her client.

Rosa is drawn to the Social Justice Collaborative because of its dedication to the promotion of social welfare.

Rosa also served on the board between 2012-2013.
