Samantha is a law student at the University of Colorado School of Law. Originally from New Jersey, she attended Franklin & Marshall College, where she became interested in immigration law when she took a course on asylum and refugee law. She interned with the Pennsylvania Immigration Resource Center, where she contributed to researching for and preparing an asylum case. Immediately after college, she was a volunteer English tutor for refugees from Bhutan. She subsequently worked as a paralegal for a large immigration firm in New York. Once she completes law school, she is eager to practice immigration law and to continue to working to protect the legal rights of immigrant communities.
