Stephanie Shyu is an organizational consultant with startup companies, tech teams, and educators, advising on strategy and leadership development through an equity lens. She founded an education tech company focused on increasing access to higher education for first-generation applicants.

Prior to her tech career, Steph worked briefly at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in New York. Her pro bono work focused on overturning wrongful convictions with The Innocence Project and on refugee law. While in law school, Steph led projects with the International Human Rights Advocates on freedom of expression and the International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP) on asylum cases. She graduated with a J.D. and LL.M. dual degree from the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Hong Kong, respectively. She earned a B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University and also holds an Executive Certificate in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from Georgetown University.
