Victoria Mendoza Ruiz

Immigration Program Manager

Born and raised in Mexico, Victoria has a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM); she worked hand in hand with her mother helping her to offer holistic services to clients from her accounting firm. After that initial work, Victoria started looking for her own path and got a position in Human Resources Management, gaining experience in the labor law field.

Victoria is passionate about traveling the world and learning about new cultures, which drove her to participate in a Volunteering Program abroad. This experience fed her desire to join a multicultural and international workspace. As a Lawyer, she is eager to be a social change agent to fight for a more dignified and fair approach to people from vulnerable communities. One of her career goals is to take part in an international organization that works towards these purposes, achieving a significant social impact with her skills and knowledge.

An animal lover since birth, she enjoys spending time with her dogs and participating in projects to rescue animals in need and taking part in the change in their quality of life. She is happy to have joined Social Justice Collaborative and began the road to achieve her career goals while helping people that are seeking a better life. Victoria wants a change for a more human and compassionate society.
