Daniel Salvador Espinosa Rodríguez

Paralegal

Daniel was born and raised in Tampico, a city and port in the southeastern part of the State of Tamaulipas, Mexico. He moved to the city of Monterrey to begin his studies in Political Science and Public Administration at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León.

During this time he went to Brazil to study at the Universidade de Sao Paulo as part of an academic program for exchange students and started focusing on public policy management and Latin American studies.

He graduated in 2014 and started working as assistant at the H. Congress of the State of Nuevo León. Daniel later continued working as the special advisor of Congresswoman Dr. Blanca Sandoval. Since Congresswoman Sandoval was vicepresident of the Health Committee, Daniel started getting involved in public policy surveillance and the assistance of vulnerable groups.

After working in the Legislative branch, Daniel started working in the Ministry of Health of the State of Nuevo Leon as Coordinator of Sanitary Jurisdictions. He was responsible for the office’s public affairs and regulatory compliance where he learnt about government transparency and protection of personal data since he was the person responsible of providing information to the comptroller’s office whenever it was requested.

Daniel has worked both in the public and private sector and has a diploma in finance from IDESAA Business School.

Since mid 2020, Daniel works as paralegal in Social Justice Collaborative helping the staff gather information and prepare the legal cases the attorneys need in order to properly defend clients and prevent deportation.

Daniel is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
