In response to the recent election, Social Justice Collaborative reaffirms its unwavering commitment to supporting immigrant communities across Northern California.
For over a decade, SJC has stood as a beacon of hope for immigrant families facing deportation, detention, and family separation. Today, that mission is more critical than ever.
We want our clients, our community, and our partners to know: our promise lives. We will continue to:
- •Provide free and low-cost legal representation to immigrant families in removal proceedings
- •Fight for asylum seekers, unaccompanied minors, and survivors of violence
- •Challenge unjust immigration decisions through the federal appellate courts
- •Support the mental health and wellbeing of immigrant communities through our Behavioral Health program
- •Advocate for a more just and compassionate immigration system
