Fernando is a queer immigrant from Fresnillo, Zacatecas, Mexico. He uses both he/they pronouns. He was raised in Modesto and Oakdale, which are in the Central Valley of California. He first attended Modesto Junior College where he studied Literature, Social & Geographic Movements of people, and Political Science. He transferred to UC Berkeley, where he graduated with a Bachelor Degree in English, with a concentration in the trauma informed healing power of storytelling and personal narrative, and an Education minor. He is currently living in his own telenovela, loves to imagine and write stories, enjoys dancing/going out with friends, and to go on spontaneous adventures. He hopes to work to see a world without borders and prisons.
