SJC’s Social Work Field Instructor

Janet is the daughter of immigrant parents from Mexico. She’s learned so many values from her family that has guided her on her professional journey as a Social Worker.

Janet has been in the Social Work field for over 10 years. In her words, she continues to learn so much from the resiliency of the communities she works with, especially the immigrant community.

With this knowledge, she feels humbled and privileged to support Social Work students from the Stanislaus State University through their learning in the field.
