Hello my name is Thalia Castaneda! I am a summer intern for the Master's in Social Work Program at California State University, Stanislaus. I am a proud first-generation graduate from CSUSTAN with a B.A. in Sociology.

My parents immigrated from Mexico in hopes to create a better opportunity for their children and future generations. I understand the sacrifices they had to make and I am forever grateful to my Hispanic roots.

Through my education, I have become passionate about serving people in my community. I look forward to learning new skills and knowledge to help me better serve those in need.
